Is Tag a printed magazine?

Most certainly! You may purchase one here (link) and if you happen to be in NYC, the magazine will be available at selected newsstands.

How many times a year is the magazine published?

Tag Magazine is published quarterly.

Can I download a PDF version?

Yes you may. Just click the link on the homepage, and download your PDF version.

I want to submit my finest sequence shot. Where can I do that?

Did my submission go through?

Please check that theme, and locate the photo first. If you do not see your photo there, then please contact us.

May I delete my submission?

You may delete your submission, but your vote count will start over. All photos have an equal chance of being reviewed regardless of when it was submitted. The photos with the highest average number of votes  will be reviewed by our editors for possible publication. In other words, you’re still getting a fair shot.

May I submit a photo series?

Absolutely, we like photo series. Please submit it to the essay section (link).

Can I upload images that have been re-touched or treated?

Yes, however we prefer light re-touching. Looks more authentic, which is what we are looking for. Artistic treatment is welcome, but nothing over processed.

If my submitted photos are published, will I receive a payment? What about copyright?

At this stage all work for the magazine is done voluntarily. There will be no monetary payment, however you will get full credit as a creator of the photo and have the option to provide your contact info. You will retain the copyright to your photo, we only have the right to use your image for promotion purposes, such as Gallery Exhibitions.  In the future, hopefully we can offer more than just street cred. We will not trade, sell or give away your images as Tag Magazine is a place to exhibit your work, with peace of mind.

Can I add to my profile in the forum section?

Yes, just go to the Forum page and click My Forum.

How do I edit or delete a photo after uploading?

Go to your “My Profile” link at the top right of the page. Then locate “Edit Photos”.

How do I protect my photos from theft?

This website has been designed so no one can retrieve, copy, remove or manipulate your photos. The very small thumbnail version of your photo is displayed on the website at a low resolution. This discourages anyone from using the photo as it can only be displayed at small size and printed at extremely poor quality.

Why can I only upload 8 photos per day?

Well, we do not want the website to become a family photo album. We would like you to be choosy and only upload your top notch photography.
